About Verdant Verdant began life back in Autumn 2014 when homebrewers Adam and James teamed up with Rich to craft US-inspired beers that weren’t available locally. Since then the team has continued to grow alongside the demand for our beer! We’re now a team of 40 people, all driven by the same passion. About the Role An opportunity has arisen to join Verdant as our Regional Sales Manager for the South East. In this role, you would be responsible for managing key customer accounts across the South East, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic sales initiatives within the South East region. This role combines hands‑on account management with team leadership and strategic planning responsibilities.
Patch Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Greater London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities Account Management
Maintain relationships with top direct accounts
Develop and execute account‑specific growth strategies to maximise revenue opportunities
Work closely with RTM partners (e.g. Pigs Ears, Cave Direct, James Clay etc) to drive Verdant growth and support them in winning new business growth
Monitor account performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
Business Development
Identify and pursue key brand and sales opportunities within London & SE England
Develop initiatives to increase Verdant brand visibility and market presence
Conduct market analysis to inform strategic decision‑making
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential new business opportunities
Team Management
Provide line management for the Sales Account Manager: London
Set clear objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and development
Support team member's professional growth and career development
Ensure team adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards
Strategic Planning and Forecasting
Collaborate with the Head of Sales on strategic planning for South East regional presence
Develop and monitor regional sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Provide regular reporting on regional sales performance and market conditions
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong trade relationships with existing and prospective customers
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure satisfactory resolution
Act as the primary point of contact for key regional stakeholders
