Overview As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one – with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.
Benefits
A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £50,000.
A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
40 hours per week, core hours 8:00 am–4:30 pm, and one Saturday in every four.

Responsibilities
Provide vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and safety checks directly to customers.
Manage stock, reporting and customer communications.
Work independently and within the team to deliver high‑quality service.
Qualifications
Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
