Location Flexible role in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the viability analysis for small, medium and large sized projects; support larger and more complex projects delivered by our strategic partners.
Manage the analysis deliverables across a portfolio of projects; define and direct the overall approach for the team of Business Analysts.
Coach, set priorities, guide and coach Business Analysts and set standards over analysis deliverables.
Work with the business and our strategic partners to analyse and understand business problems and opportunities based on desired business outcomes and strategic drivers.
Lead the definition and agreement of solution design for projects and ensure a robust design governance framework is followed.
Provide oversight and assurance of analysis and solution design activity delivered by our strategic partners.
Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
Analyse current product/services and processes, identify and implement opportunities to optimise these; evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
Use quantitative and qualitative data to define outcomes and solutions.
Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing products and services.
Provide options and recommend solutions; work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits.
Key Skills, Competencies & Experience
Collaborate and communicate with sponsors and stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
Interpret data from a range of sources and help the team make data‑driven decisions.
Create user flows, wireframes and map business processes to represent current and future design of a product or service.
Apply an innovative mindset to problem solving and generate ideas for continuous improvement.
Manage expectations, recognise importance of managing upwards.
Identify key stakeholders, manage their needs in harmony with user needs, and justify decisions.
Work in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid projects, understanding the advantages and disadvantages of different methodologies.
Adhere to Change Governance standards.
Experience
Lead other Business Analysts and manage multiple deliverables across a portfolio of activity.
Work in fast‑paced challenging environments using different methodologies.
Significant experience of successful delivery throughout the full project life‑cycle across a broad spectrum of project types and environments.
Resolve ambiguity where stakeholder priorities and needs are often unclear or conflict.
Contribute to and achieve good customer outcomes.
Facilitate workshops to understand business needs and gather requirements.
Experience and knowledge of Financial Services products and practices.
Work with and provide oversight of third‑party partners and providers.
