Remote Site Visits as Required/Needed POSITION SUMMARY The National Manager, Data Analytics & Quality Systems, at the direction of the National Director, Quality, is responsible for the analysis of analytical third-party data derived from the output from various analytical instruments (HPLC, GC-FID, GC-MS, and other laboratory instruments); interpretation, review, and trending of results in a timely manner; reviewing and updating departmental standard operating procedures, reviewing state regulations, investigating and performing root cause analysis on compliance failures as needed, manage the Quality Analytics & Quality Systems teams, and be the scientific SME within the scope of compliance testing and Quality Systems deployed throughout the enterprise. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and support the Data Analytics team, which is responsible for, but is not limited to, review of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) provided by third-party testing laboratories, batch release, and batch sampling in accordance with state regulation and SOX compliance Manage and support the Quality Systems team, which is responsible for, but is not limited to, creation and maintenance of Quality Systems in support of business units across the enterprise, Supplier Quality, and adherence to requirements promulgated via applicable states and third-party certification standards Create & maintain all Quality Data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are reported as needed, requested, or on a cadenced basis to include trending of data to deduce systemic failures, or that support continuous improvement activities/initiatives Conduct cadenced, as needed, onsite visits with teams (internal customers) to ensure they are receiving the support needed thus ensuring effectiveness and integrity of the Quality Management System Collaborates with site leadership to ensure Quality Systems are suitable for their intended uses with an emphasis on Operational Excellence Management, review, and trending of data from analytes tested by the third-party laboratories Compilation of data and KPIs to support Management Reviews that are required annually Review state regulations and submit recommendations on proposed regulations to compliance and legal Lead investigations regarding regulatory failures and aid in providing solutions to reduce failure risks Ensure Supplier Quality and QA Supplier Onboarding/Material Approvals are being maintained in partnership with Procurement teams Provide SME advice and guidance on special project requests from within Quality Departments and/or internal/external customers Maintain focus on data driven systems and initiatives that places Trulieve at the forefront of being a best-in-class MSO. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required; Ph.D. preferred Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing Experience in regulatory agency audits and correspondence Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing executive summaries and communicating with senior level operations, quality management team, and regulatory agencies Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) Prior experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus Strong analytical skills or other relevant skills Detail-oriented Utilizes critical thinking to troubleshoot issues, work collaboratively with a team to brainstorm solutions, and implement improvement solutions Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Flexibility of hours some nights and weekends required ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV). Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The work is generally sedentary to light and may require exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
