Role summary:
You’ll work closely with our Operations, Commercial, Recruitment and Technical teams to support turning technical R&D work into audience‑first content that drives engagement and leads. You will assist in planning, creating, and optimising engaging digital content across multiple channels, including our website, social media, email campaigns and other digital platforms. You’ll play a supportive role in strengthening our brand presence, driving engagement, and delivering content that resonates with our audiences. This role will allow you to learn and grow in all aspects of content for CBTax.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the content calendar and publishing workflow.
Support the planning, creation and publication of high‑quality content across digital platforms (website, social media, blogs, email and newsletters), contributing to 4–6 social posts per week and 1 long‑form piece per month.
Assist in monitoring, analysing and reporting on content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Support the development and execution of digital campaigns that align with brand and business goals for both internal and external audiences.
Assist in managing and updating website content using our site’s CMS (WordPress).
Support optimisation of content for SEO and user experience to increase website visibility and engagement.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all content reflects the brand tone of voice, values and guidelines and is kept up to date with digital content trends and best practices.
Must‑haves
6 months–1 year’s experience in content marketing, communications or an agency social role (or relevant degree/internship with demonstrable potential).
Interest or basic experience in B2B professional services‑related content.
Emerging LinkedIn presence – portfolio or examples of posts showing interest in engagement growth and community‑building.
Good copywriting for short and long‑form content; developing editorial judgement.
Ability to convert technical/complex subject matter into plain English for business audiences.
Familiarity with CMS, basic analytics and scheduling tools.
Organised, proactive and able to manage tasks and deadlines.
Nice to have
WordPress experience.
Video editing experience.
SEO knowledge.
