We’re looking to hire an experienced Embedded Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in Cambridge, north of the City Centre and next to the A14, this is a great opportunity to get deeply involved in the design & development of innovative capacitive touch applications. We’re seeking someone with a natural curiosity, passionate about their work, with great attention to detail, and eager to learn. Our technology requires combining different disciplines, processes, and outlooks. We’re looking for someone to help set up and maintain best practices in creating/supporting electronics and firmware driving our printed sensors. Requirements
Responsibilities & Expertise Work with the CTO, engineering subcontractors, and design team to drive long-term development strategy, including tools, code style, best practices, and future research. Possess broad, practical engineering skills and an analytical, methodical approach to problem-solving, PCB layout & PCBA build. Engage in firmware and software development, including design, implementation, testing, debugging, and maintenance. Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters. Have embedded skills (Embedded C, C/C++, Python). Understand capacitive touch operation & analog electronics. Have knowledge of data communication protocols, including USB & Bluetooth Low Energy. Create configuration tools for PC and Mac. Be willing to learn and communicate verbally effectively. Be comfortable working with creative teams and open to trying new approaches. Helpful Experience in developing iPhone/Android applications. Get In Touch
