Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Engineering Join our highly experienced teams in Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham and gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of sustainable projects. Responsibilities
Prepare design calculations and drawings for mechanical building services under senior supervision. Support senior engineers in delivering projects from initial concept to completion. Assist with coordinating designs, identifying risks, options, and opportunities, and contributing to technical solutions. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and other construction professionals. Manage individual tasks within agreed timeframes and delivery dates. Attend client, design team, and project meetings as required. Support senior staff on site investigations, inspections, issue identification, and problem‑solving. Provide regular updates to senior engineers on programme and delivery progress. Follow instructions while being confident to ask questions where clarification is required. Demonstrate initiative and manage time effectively. Training & Professional Development
Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with CIBSE and/or IMechE requirements. Work towards Chartered Engineer status, supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues. Gain exposure to high‑quality, sustainable projects that support long‑term professional growth. Qualifications & Membership
HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Graduate member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE) or working towards membership. Why Work With Us
