Base Pay Range Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the mechanical design of automated and manual loading systems from concept to production.
Oversee detailed design, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and CE standards.
Mentor junior design engineers and embed best practices.
Standardise and optimise designs through continuous improvement and value engineering.
Provide technical support and analysis for root‑cause investigations and design improvements.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally to align projects with company strategy.
Support the implementation of DriveWorks and structured design systems.
What You’ll Bring
Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within manufacturing, automation, or industrial machinery.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a creative, solutions‑focused approach.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and influence others.
Commitment to environmental and safety standards.
Desirable: Experience with DriveWorks or similar design automation tools.
Working Arrangements
Location: Liverpool (onsite collaboration expected).
Hours: Full‑time, permanent role.
Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level.
