Flywheel Product Team The Flywheel Product Team is responsible for spinning HubSpot’s enterprise Flywheel faster. As HubSpot scales, we need to leverage that momentum to deliver a remarkable customer experience. The success of our team is defined by creating systems that enable HubSpot’s hyper-scale and break linear revenue growth. We build for HubSpot’s front line reps, ops teams and partners, so they can perform their best work and continue to generate continuous value for customers at scale.
Our team supports the Hubspot Flywheel by building tools on the Hubspot platform focused on attracting and engaging with potential HubSpot customers. This can range from data management architecture, systems that route leads to the right sales rep at the right time, and tools and user experiences that ensure our sales reps can do their jobs effectively.
By joining our team you’ll get exposed to a wide variety of technologies, teams, and problem spaces within HubSpot.
Responsibilities
Write and ship production code that has a meaningful user and business impact
Envision, build and analyze new features and tools, each contributing to company growth and revenue
Work with a small cross functional team of engineers, PMs, designers, content designers, and researchers
Collaborate with HubSpotters all over the company, whether in engineering, product, design, research, marketing, sales, etc
Help HubSpot users meet their goals, via changes you’ve made
Implement experiments that give us valuable insights into user behaviour and how to improve their experience
Get exposure to how HubSpot works as a business
Qualifications
You have backend development experience. We work with Java, MySQL, AWS, DropWizard, Kafka and Kubernetes primarily, and a strong interest in writing code in Java ecosystem would be ideal.
You have a strong focus on the user. You can gain empathy for their challenges and understand how they may flow through our product.
You not only get excited about big, technical challenges, but also about being very close to the business and our go-to-market strategies.
