As a Sales Executive, you are responsible for managing existing customer accounts in Scotland while generating high-quality new business. You’ll work closely with clients in the food industry—particularly in Fresh Red Meat, Processed Meats, Dairy, Fish, and Ready Meal Packaging—to understand their needs and deliver tailored Cryovac solutions.
Your role includes selling new products and systems, coordinating internal resources, implementing the Cryovac Total Offer, and promoting a full packaging system approach. You’ll also identify new opportunities, monitor competitive activity, and contribute to strategic planning and reporting.
To manage and grow customer relationships.
You’ll meet current customer needs and build strong relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty while identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
To drive sales and business development.
You’ll sell additional products and systems, identify target customers for new applications, and achieve agreed sales performance targets.
You’ll develop strategic plans for key accounts, understand the broader needs of customers, and communicate these insights across the Cryovac organization.
You’ll work with Cryovac teams to implement the Total Offer and support customers with a full system approach.
To contribute to planning and reporting.
You’ll provide regular site activity reports, complete monthly updates, and support budget and territory growth planning.
To represent Cryovac professionally.
You’ll attend team meetings, present at customer events like Packforum, and negotiate with head office contacts alongside the Sales Manager.
Qualifications
Have a successful track record in sales, ideally within the food industry.
Possess knowledge of packaging trends in Fresh Red Meat, Processed Meats, Dairy, Fish, and Ready Meals.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Be capable of strategic thinking and planning.
Be comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
Show proficiency in reporting, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination.
