Social Media Manager

We are seeking a part-time, on-site Social Media Manager to run our restaurant's social channels during the slower season (January through April), with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities

• Manage Instagram and Facebook accounts
• On-site content capture every 7–10 days during service hours
• Create photo and video content, including Reels
• Write captions and schedule posts
• Maintain a monthly content calendar
• Respond to DMs and comments in brand voice
• Track and report basic metrics and performance
• Collaborate with ownership on promotions, events, holidays, and seasonal offerings

Qualifications

• Based in or near Peoria, IL
• Experience managing business social media accounts (not just personal pages)
• Comfortable shooting content in an active restaurant environment
• Strong writing skills and understanding of brand voice
• Reliable, organized, and deadline-driven
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Reels, short-form video, content strategy

Preferred Experience (not required)

• hospitality or restaurant marketing
• Canva, CapCut, InShot, or Adobe tools
• basic analytics and reporting
• email marketing experience a plus
