McGonagle's is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about hospitality, team development, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a high-volume Irish pub setting.

  Support the General Manager in daily operations

• 
  

  Lead, train, and motivate FOH staff

• 
  

  Oversee service standards, guest satisfaction, and floor management

• 
  

  Assist with scheduling, labor control, and payroll oversight

• 
  

  Handle opening/closing duties and manager-on-duty shifts

• 
  

  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations

• 
  

  Help drive sales, events, and community engagement

• 
  

  2+ years of restaurant or pub management experience

• 
  

  Strong leadership and communication skills

• 
  

  High-volume service experience preferred

• 
  

  Ability to lead from the floor and set the tone for service

• 
  

  Strong understanding of hospitality systems, POS, and scheduling

• 
  

  Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
