We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in New Orleans.
Candidates must have a passion for fine cuisine, exceptional leadership abilities, and the capacity to motivate and direct staff. Prior experience as an Executive Chef/Chef de Cuisine is essential.
- Coordinate and oversee all food operations from preparation through service delivery
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and excellence in the daily operation of the kitchen
- Supervise and develop Sous Chefs, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and all hourly team members
- Work efficiently to resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen
- Oversee Human Resources responsibilities, including creating a work environment that fosters teamwork, open communication, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction. Quality hiring and training of new staff to ensure a diverse workforce
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef/Chef de Cuisine
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving excellent results
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry best practices and regulations
