This is a great opportunity to join our ambitious teams designing and delivering high-quality, sustainable buildings across multiple tenures. The role may suit an experienced Design Manager or someone from an engineering or architectural background who is currently running their own projects.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations.
Lead and oversee the design and technical processes, from proposals to construction.
Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate closely with internal and external teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring seamless project execution.
Drive innovation, keeping up to date with the latest design technologies and processes.
Lead coordination meetings with sub‑contractors during design development.
What We’re Looking For
Strong technical knowledge and relevant sector experience.
Interest in, or knowledge of MMC would be a benefit.
Project management and organisational skills.
Experience managing sub‑consultant scopes and appointments.
Experience of pre‑construction design activities.
A proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
Ability to integrate design seamlessly with overall project objectives.
Strong commercial acumen.
Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and build trust with all levels of the team internally and externally.
