About the Role As a Physical Availability Manager you will work closely with customers and dealers to provide product support, ensuring Caterpillar Mining Products at the sites meet or exceed performance targets.
You will partner with the Dealer Site Manager to support all Caterpillar business at the sites.
Key accountabilities
Develop, implement, and manage product support and equipment management processes to optimize physical availability of mining fleets.
Manage Caterpillar's business risk related to aftermarket commercial & performance support.
Co‑manage mine site focus and support with the Commercial Manager and Product Support Manager.
Influence cross‑unit teams outside the reporting structure in a heavy coordination role.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Superior interpersonal, relationship building, and influencing skills.
Essential experience in the mining industry and highly desirable site experience.
Prior field representative experience or significant dealer and customer support in continuous improvement, service, or commercial areas.
Broad technical knowledge of Caterpillar products and field experience.
Strong understanding of dealer operations.
College or university degree or equivalent experience.
Regular mine site visits required; travel up to 50%.
