You will bring a strong perspective of current and emerging design trends to influence and support world‑class design outcomes for Crux.
Principal Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with a wide range of Crux team members (product designers, engineers, usability experts, business development) to fulfil design briefs.
Support the Industrial Design team on live project tasks – from ideation to visualisation.
Support the wider Design team at Crux with internal Crux brand projects.
Stay up‑to‑date with emerging design trends and culture to regularly update the Design team.
What We’re Looking For Essential
Working towards or have graduated from a degree in Industrial Design.
Proactive, confident, autonomous designer who can take a brief and run with it.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Proficiency in KeyShot and generative AI visualisation techniques.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Proficiency in Microsoft programmes (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Refined aesthetic sensibility.
User‑centred mindset – able to conceptualise experiences as well as products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to cross‑function stakeholders.
Desirable
Experience in creating and editing video content.
Experience in Figma and Digital Design.
