About the Role The QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring that product features are delivered with the highest quality through rigorous testing, defect identification, and validation processes. Reporting to the Head of Product, they work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, and UX to verify that requirements are correctly implemented and that product releases remain stable and consistent.
Their mission is to design, execute, and maintain test plans including end‑to‑end tests, regression suites, exploratory testing to safeguard product reliability and user experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk detection and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution – Define testing strategy for projects, sites, new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with functional and non‑functional requirements. Conduct automation and manual testing activities including functional, regression, end‑to‑end, and exploratory testing.
Regression & End‑to‑End Testing – Build and maintain end‑to‑end tests covering critical workflows. Execute regression tests after releases to ensure product stability. Support identification of automation candidates and collaborate with the development team when applicable.
Defect Management & Quality Reporting – Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessments. Work with developers and Product Owners or Product Managers to prioritize bugs based on severity and user impact. Re‑test resolved issues and validate fixes before release. Prepare test progress reports and highlight quality risks, gaps, and areas requiring attention.
Collaboration with Development & Product Teams – Participate in requirement reviews and refinement sessions to ensure testability and clarity. Provide early feedback on design and implementation decisions impacting quality. Collaborate with UX designers, Product Owners or Product Managers, and development team to ensure that delivered experiences match intended designs and functionalities.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in manual and automated testing (functional, regression, end‑to‑end, exploratory)
Ability to design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with product requirements
Skilled in defect identification, documentation, tracking, and validation, including clear reproduction steps and impact assessment
Proactive in risk detection and quality assurance, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience with regression and end‑to‑end testing frameworks and ability to identify automation opportunities
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Product Owners/Managers, developers, and UX teams
Ability to review and clarify requirements early to ensure testability and alignment with expected user experience
