Thrivelia is hiring a **Direct Response Designer** to build high-converting creative across email/SMS lifecycle and conversion-focused UX/UI (pop-ups + key landing page sections) for fast-moving DTC and subscription brands, with growing work in subscription-style SaaS too.
If you think like a conversion designer and system builder (not a “pretty layout” designer), you’ll fit here.
Role basics
Type: Full-time (employee or long-term contractor)
Timezone: 4+ hours overlap with EU/UK (Mon–Fri)
Core stack: Figma, Klaviyo, Shopify, Asana, Slack
AI-native: Comfortable experimenting with AI creative tools (e.g. Midjourney, Veo 3, Freepik for short GIFs/motion) to speed up and improve work.
Nice-to-have: Attentive, Recharge, Iterable, Webflow, HubSpot, After Effects/Lottie
Why Thrivelia
High-leverage work: You’re shaping the conversion journey across key revenue moments, not just making “newsletters.”
Standards + support: Clear direction, direct feedback, teammates who care about craft and performance.
Purpose-driven: We help people build a life rich in memories – clients, customers, and our own team.
Real industry weight: Klaviyo Platinum Partner, deep ecosystem access, and playbooks built from real wins.
Must-have experience (non‑negotiable)
2+ years designing direct-response creative for e‑commerce / DTC / subscription brands
System builder: modular components, templates, reusable blocks, scalable libraries
Production reliability: on-time, clean files, sharp attention to detail
Conversion-first fundamentals: hierarchy, clarity, scannability, CTA mechanics, mobile-first
Portfolio must-haves
Lifecycle sequences (welcome/onboarding, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back)
At least one UX/UI asset (pop-up, LP section, PDP/offer section)
What you’ll do
Lifecycle creative that converts
Design email campaigns and flows (Klaviyo‑first)
Build modular blocks for offers, bundles, education, social proof, urgency, promos
UX/UI that lifts signups + purchases
Design pop-ups / forms (layout + UX) to improve signup rate and data capture
Design key landing page sections that support campaigns (hero/offer, benefits, comparisons, trust)
Motion + AI‑enhanced creative
Create short GIFs / lightweight motion variants from your designs (e.g. via Veo 3 or similar tools)
Use AI creation tools to explore concepts faster and level up final designs (not to cut corners)
Systems > snowflakes
Create and maintain brand design systems: components, templates, libraries, rules
Proactively suggest ways to improve templates and patterns for the whole team, not just your own files
Quality at speed
QA for mobile, dark mode, accessibility basics, link/asset checks
Keep handoffs clean for builders/ops (naming, structure, specs)
How we measure success
On‑time delivery: ≥ 95%
Error rate:
Reuse rate: ≥
50% from modular templates/components
Rework: Who you are
Owner mindset: you ship, iterate, and care about outcomes
AI‑curious: you openly embrace and are genuinely interested in AI‑assisted creation
Taste + restraint: clean, premium, on‑brand, never cheesy
Fast + precise: speed without sloppiness
Collaborative + proactive: you don’t just take briefs; you proactively think about how to help the team create better designs and systems
Detail‑proud: spacing, typography, accessibility, dark mode — you notice everything
What your week looks like
Monday: Priorities + briefs aligned with the pod
Tue/Wed: Deep‑work design sprints (flows, campaigns, modules, pop-ups, GIFs)
Thursday: QA, refinements, handoffs
Friday: Wrap, plan, improve libraries/systems

Competitive compensation + performance bonuses (quality + speed + reliability)
100% remote
PTO + sick leave + birthday off
