Requirements
Experience and knowledge of current Building Regulations, specifically energy related controls etc.
Working for a large contractor in a design capacity.
Project management of multi-disciplinary projects.
Producing detailed specifications.
Productions of design calculations both manual and software type.
CAD experience essential.
Carry out tender analysis of returned tender packages.
Production of budget costings for all aspects of services.
Carry out site surveys in various parts of the UK using your own vehicle or public transport.
Management of junior staff.
Direct Client Liaison.

Responsibilities
Electrical design engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) or technical lead for Platform Management Systems (PMS).
Design and develop electrical panel/enclosure/cabinet design in accordance with customer requirements and first principles where required.
Create, modify, maintain and manage electrical designs for power and control systems.
Analyse and justify electrical based designs and component selection.
Review electrical schematics in accordance with relevant standards and internal CAD processes.
Produce, modify, maintain and manage technical documents to support contractual deliverables (e.g. specifications, design documents, Bill of Materials (BOMs) etc.).
Resolve electrical issues during hardware design, development, manufacture, integration and qualification.

Requirements
Strong and demonstrable experience in an Electrical Design Engineering position.
Experience as a Hardware lead, Electrical lead or similar.
Engineering Degree in a related discipline (experienced Electrical Design Engineers without a degree will also be considered).
