The Role We are seeking a Sales Executive – AWS to join our London team. This is a high‑energy role designed for someone who thrives on building relationships, understands the startup ecosystem, and is excited about growing Commit’s presence in the UK through our partnership with AWS.
You will be on the front lines of Commit’s UK sales efforts: spending time with AWS Account Managers, nurturing personal and professional relationships, identifying joint opportunities, and positioning Commit’s services to AWS customers, especially fast‑growing startups and scale‑ups.
This is not a “desk job.” You’ll be out and about, in front of people, building trust through conversations, meals, events, and regular office visits. If you’re motivated, personable, and eager to grow your career in cloud sales, this role is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building with AWS
Spend significant time each week at AWS offices, building and deepening relationships with Account Managers
Host AWS reps for drinks, meals, and social outings to strengthen trust and rapport
Act as Commit’s face in the AWS ecosystem, making sure Commit is top‑of‑mind for opportunities
Work closely with AWS to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities with their startup clients.
Drive Commit’s positioning as the go‑to partner for startups building on AWS
Support the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing, in collaboration with senior Commit sales leadership
AWS Ecosystem Engagement
Stay plugged into AWS programs, funding mechanisms, and co‑selling motions
Represent Commit at AWS events, startup community meetups, and industry networking opportunities
Internal Collaboration
Work with Commit’s UK sales and technical teams to align on pursuits
Provide feedback on AWS partner motions and client needs to help shape Commit’s UK market approach

What We’re Looking For This is a role for a
rising sales professional , with a few years of experience, eager to take the next step, and who thrives in high‑energy, face‑to‑face environments. Role reports to UK VP of Sales.
Experience & Skills
Approximately 2-4 years of sales, business development, or partner management experience, ideally in tech or cloud services
Understanding of the AWS ecosystem: how AWS works with partners, account reps, and customers
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills: approachable, outgoing, and confident in both professional and social settings
Comfortable engaging with startup founders, AWS account reps, and Commit’s senior leaders
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A proactive, “get out there” mindset, willing to hustle, network, and show up
Bonus Points For
Prior experience working for or with an AWS partner
Familiarity with AWS sales processes, funding programs, and co‑sell tools
Exposure to the UK startup ecosystem or venture‑backed tech companies
Track record of quota achievement or supporting revenue growth in a sales capacity
