Celestia Technologies We are looking for a system engineer to strengthen our existing team of talented engineers, as part of our system engineering team working on projects ranging from laser satellite communications to spacecraft test and simulation systems. Role & Responsibilities
This varied and interesting role involves analysing customer requirements specifications (CRS) & Statements of Work, deriving system decomposition/design (HW, SW, COTS), providing input for project resourcing and planning as well as coordinating internal and external technical discussions and meetings. Producing and coordinating writing of design documentation, including test plans, supporting reviews with customers, and producing/coordinating system test procedures, are also part of the role. Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Optical or electronics engineering degree (B.Sc. or higher) At least two years’ experience in system engineering Experience in SDA, CCSDS and ECSS standards, as well as in using lab test equipment is an advantage Knowledge of modulation and coding techniques is also a plus Experience/knowledge in (aero) space businesses would also be a bonus Good team player, who is pro-active and hands-on Good English verbal and written communication skills in multi-disciplinary project teams Seniority level
