Key Responsibilities
Work directly with senior managers across the organisation to develop models, analysis and presentations that support strategic decision making.
Contribute to long term planning, investment decision through scenario analysis and commercial modelling.
Assist with ad hoc analyses, business cases, or project requests from business leaders.
Develop and prepare high-quality investor reports, board decks, and executive presentations.
Analyse financial performance, identify key trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to gather data, validate assumptions, and enhance forecasting accuracy.
Identify opportunities for process standardisation and drive initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Partner with functional leads (Sales, Marketing, Technology, etc.) to deliver insights, support decision-making to support alignment to budgets and KPIs.
Work closely with the Finance and IT teams to develop data driven tools that support the strategic analysis needs of senior management.
Key skills
Advanced Excel skills — including complex formulas, pivot tables, INDEX, Power Query, and VBA (a plus).
Comfortable working with large and complicated datasets with a wide variety of formats and sources.
Interest and/or familiarity with Python and other related programming languages that support advanced data calculations and analysis.
Familiarity with fixed income, derivatives and other relevant financial services industry products.
Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills with proven English language verbal and written communication skills.
Experience preparing materials for senior managers, investors or board-level audiences.
Confidence building and owning complex forecasts including the ability to create financial models from scratch.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in a financial analysis or comparable role in the financial services industry.
Nice to Have
Experience in corporate finance or private equity-backed businesses.
Experience with business intelligence systems/tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Personal Attributes
Strong business partnership skills and team-oriented nature.
A commercial mindset and curiosity about how the whole business works — not just Finance.
Strong communication and influencing skills; able to build trusted relationships across all levels.
High attention to detail, combined with the ability to simplify and explain the big picture.
