Within JCDecaux UK the role of IT Project Manager (ITPM) involves managing projects executed on behalf of the UK IT Business Projects. The role sits within the Business Transformation department, part of the Technology & Innovation division, and reports to the Senior IT Project Manager (SITPM). It supports all division projects and works with the Technical Solutions department to coordinate UK Technical Delivery. JCDecaux UK is a challenging and ever‑evolving company where improvements to processes, systems and working practices are continually pursued, and the ITPM role is crucial to the company’s success.
What You’ll Be Doing Project Management
Effective project leadership and control for delivery of projects of different sizes and scopes, on time and within budget
Financial management and reporting of project related Cap‑Ex and Op‑Ex spend
Ensure projects align with and deliver on business needs and specified requirements
Create a sense of community amongst project team members and command respect
Apply techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling complex projects
Business Analysis
Produce detailed service and functional specifications for services moving into SAP modules
Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements
Conduct insightful, ad‑hoc analyses to investigate on‑going or one‑time operational issues
Stakeholder Management
Build relationships with key business users to ensure delivery of business requirements
Lead regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, manage defects and prioritise backlog items
Communicate project issues and risks at all levels and strengthen relationships with the business
Quality Management
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by examining all outcomes and implementing improvements regardless of the outcome
Ensure adherence to SOPs across departments and address non‑compliance identified during audits with correct corrective actions
Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to IT and data management

Excellent analysis, testing and troubleshooting skills
Educated in a Business or IT related field or possess strong industry experience
Working towards or holding a Business Analysis qualification would be an advantage
Working towards or holding a PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
