About the role This is a part time, permanent role working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday (07:30 am – 05:00 pm) and Saturdays 08:00 am–12:00 pm on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
Working within the warehouse – this will involve manual handling of heavy stock (e.g., boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets).
Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location.
Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Driving a 3.5 T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to customers in the local area.

Requirements
Full UK manual driving licence.
Previous industry or merchant experience is desirable.
Prior face‑to‑face sales and customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers to build strong relationships.
Team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure smooth running of the branch.
Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
