The Sales Renewal Representative is responsible for managing and growing renewal revenues across a portfolio of IT and Cyber Security vendors and partners. The role focuses on securing high renewal rates, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with resellers, MSPs, distributors, and end customers. The position plays a key role in revenue retention, pipeline growth, and partner satisfaction within a fast‑paced channel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for assigned vendor and partner accounts, ensuring timely and accurate renewals.
Achieve and consistently exceed renewal targets, maintaining renewal rates of 95%+ across multiple vendors.
Identify upsell, cross‑sell, and multi‑year renewal opportunities to increase contract value and customer retention.
Accurately forecast renewal revenue and manage pipelines using CRM systems (Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Act as the primary point of contact for partners and vendors on renewal‑related queries, pricing, and agreements.
Work closely with VARs, MSPs, MSSPs, and distributors to drive renewal success and partner‑led revenue growth.
Manage vendor agreements, SLAs, KPIs, and rebate structures, ensuring compliance and commercial optimisation.
Support partner onboarding, enablement, and training to improve renewal efficiency and partner performance.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
Create and manage renewal quotes, proposals, business cases, and ROI justifications in collaboration with partners and distributors.
Ensure pricing accuracy, contract compliance, and correct billing to minimise errors and delays.
Liaise with finance, procurement, and operations teams to resolve invoicing, rebate, and contractual issues efficiently.
Develop and improve renewal processes, contributing to reduced workload, improved turnaround times, and increased accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and vendor teams to align renewal strategies with wider GTM initiatives.
Work with marketing to utilise MDF effectively and support renewal‑focused campaigns.
Act as an escalation point for renewal issues, ensuring prompt resolution and high customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis
Track renewal performance, partner activity, and revenue trends using Excel, Power BI, and CRM reporting tools.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve renewal rates, partner engagement, and commercial outcomes.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Sales Renewals, Account Management, or Channel Sales within IT or Cyber Security.
Strong understanding of vendor‑partner‑reseller ecosystems.
Track record of exceeding renewal and revenue targets.
Experience managing multiple vendors and complex partner relationships.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
Experience working with Cyber Security vendors.
Knowledge of MDF, rebate structures, and partner incentive programmes.
Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI.
Agile Project Management Foundation or Practitioner certification.
