This is a hands‑on sales support role. You load and manage service orders. You control schedules. You handle NDAs. You keep SAP accurate and chase progress. Speaking to customers every day, you make sure nothing stalls.
What the role covers
Loading and managing service orders in SAP with accuracy.
Translating customer schedules into clear inputs for operations and engineering.
Maintaining live sales dates after project kick‑off meetings.
Supporting simple hours‑based costing and quotation preparation.
Handling NDAs and basic contract administration.
Updating customers with clear status information.
Extracting data from SAP into Excel or Power BI for reporting and forecasting.
Keeping dates aligned across NPI activity and daily production meetings.
What the role needs
Strong communication across teams and customers.
Confidence with Excel and business systems, including SAP or interest in learning it fast.
Organised workload management and attention to detail.
Proactive follow up and a focus on momentum.
Interest in engineering or manufacturing environments.
Comfort engaging at all levels with clear, direct information.
Background fit
Sales support, customer service, admin, or operations experience.
Manufacturing exposure useful but not essential.
Familiarity with ERP systems helpful.
This role suits someone who gets up, speaks to people, and drives progress. The work touches every customer account and gives early visibility across the commercial team.
