We are expanding our global events team and are looking for an experienced marketing specialist with a strong background in B2B event marketing to help drive delegate registrations and brand engagement across our international conference portfolio.
Your strategic role We are looking for an experienced and creative marketing specialist to drive audience acquisition for our flagship conferences and webinars. This role combines strategic marketing, hands‑on campaign execution, and light creative production. You will plan and deliver marketing campaigns that attract senior‑level delegates, manage client‑facing webinars, and support the digital visibility of DN Media Group’s global events portfolio. This role will report into the Director Content Marketing & Global Events.
Your day‑to‑day
Lead delegate marketing campaigns for major conferences and digital events across energy, shipping, and seafood.
Develop targeted acquisition strategies to reach executives, investors, and industry stakeholders.
Plan and execute (including project managing and backend handling) webinars and digital events for clients and internal brands.
Manage multi‑channel marketing campaigns across email, paid and organic social media, SEO, and digital advertising.
Work with the graphic design team to help develop and deliver copy for social media platforms, websites and printed advertising materials.
Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
Create visually appealing marketing materials and social assets using Canva or Figma.
Produce short‑form videos and event highlights for social and digital platforms.
Track and analyse campaign performance, reporting on ROI and audience insights.
Collaborate with editorial, content, partnerships, and sales teams to align marketing efforts with event objectives.
Maintain CRM and marketing automation tools to support data‑driven outreach.
Build relationships with media partners, associations, and sponsors to extend audience reach.
Support community engagement and audience retention initiatives across DN Media Group’s brands.
Your background
Demonstrable experience in delegate or event marketing within B2B media, conferences, or related sectors.
Proven success in driving delegate registrations and digital engagement.
Strong grasp of digital marketing channels, analytics, and audience segmentation.
Experience planning and running webinars or digital events (e.g. using CVENT, ON24, Teams or similar platforms).
Strong writing and content creation abilities for marketing materials.
Understanding and experience of handling multiple social media accounts, CMS, email marketing software (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Braze).
Proficiency with Canva and basic design understanding in Figma.
Basic video skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut or similar) to design social media teasers or advertisements.
Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo.
Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Comfortable working across multiple brands, campaigns, and deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
