We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a European Material Handling portfolio within a global engineering business. This role focuses on capital equipment sales, translating complex customer requirements into tailored technical solutions and driving order intake across Europe.
Essential Requirements / Experience
Proven sales experience within one or more of the following sectors: pharmaceuticals, material handling, capital equipment, process machinery, or oral solid dosage
Experience managing complex, long-cycle technical sales processes
Strong technical and commercial negotiation skills
Comfortable engaging with engineers, operations, and senior stakeholders
Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
Fluent English (additional European languages advantageous)
Willingness to travel internationally (c. 30-50%)
Salary and Benefits
£55,000 - £70,000 + bonus
25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role
Own the full sales cycle for material handling projects across Europe
Act as the technical sales specialist supporting regional teams
Develop compelling technical and commercial proposals
Manage pricing, quotations, and internal handovers
Support marketing initiatives and represent the business at customer meetings
