About The Role Applications close on Friday 2nd January 2026. Interviews continue through January until Friday 23rd, with offers sent at the end of January. We’re looking for candidates ready to start either March, April, or the beginning of summer.
We’re hiring Junior/Graduate Engineers to join cross‑functional squads focused on building features that improve users’ financial health. You’ll work in our Ruby on Rails monolith, building data models, background workers, JSON APIs, and business‑logic services. You’ll write automated tests, learn AB‑tests, feature flags, and data‑driven development practices.
What you’ll be doing
Join a product squad with backend engineers, data analysts, frontend engineers, user researchers, designers, UX writers and others to develop features that improve our users’ financial health.
Build out data models, background workers, JSON APIs, and business‑logic services on our Ruby on Rails monolith.
Write automated tests to give us confidence to ship.
Learn to use AB‑tests, feature flags, and other tools that enable rapid iteration.
Analyze feature data, detect problems, and propose new ideas.
Contribute to projects such as a secured credit‑card wizard, budget rewind, and subscription tiering.
About You Mostly, you’re excited to make a positive difference in society by improving users’ financial health. You’ve read our company values and engineering principles, and you’re ready to embrace them to deliver value.
We’re looking for recent graduates (or near‑finalists) in Computer Science or a STEM field who ideally have some experience with Ruby on Rails – from coursework, side projects, or commercial work.

Pay ranges: £43,300‑£58,000 per year for London (experience dependent) or £40,000‑£54,000 for remote roles.
