This role plays a key part in supporting the successful delivery of application-related projects and initiatives across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be experienced in coordinating IT or business systems projects, with a strong grasp of both technical and functional requirements. You will work closely with global stakeholders, helping translate business needs into actionable plans, while providing essential structure, documentation, and progress tracking throughout each project’s lifecycle. This is a varied and dynamic position that combines business analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder communication — ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and flexible environment. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination: Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of application projects from initiation through to completion. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across multiple departments, both in the UK and internationally, to ensure timely and effective delivery of project components. Project Planning: Maintain detailed project plans, track tasks, manage timelines, and help coordinate resources. Risk Management: Identify potential risks or blockers, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor progress. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a central point of contact for project updates, status reporting, and alignment between teams. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting materials including user guides, meeting minutes, and training documents. Skills & Experience A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies. Experience supporting or coordinating IT, application, or systems projects. Familiarity with SQL and data analysis is preferred. Understanding of business systems, particularly financial or warehouse ERP platforms (e.g., Sage X3), is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and time zones. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively. Why Join GES? Impactful Work: Play a key role in supporting high-value digital and systems initiatives across the EMEA region. Professional Growth: Gain exposure to a broad range of business applications, project types, and global teams. Supportive Culture: Join a collaborative IT environment where your contributions are recognised and your development is supported. Competitive Benefits: Be part of a company that values its employees and rewards success.
