The role
This role sits at the heart of our 2026 marketing strategy. You will own our long‑form and strategic content output, helping us strengthen GEEIQ’s industry authority while supporting Sales, Product and PR initiatives. You’ll work across the business to turn data, product developments and market trends into compelling content for senior brand marketers.
Alongside this, you’ll play a light supporting role in social by adapting your content into social‑ready formats and contributing to our channel output.
Key Responsibilities Own Long‑Form Content (Core Focus)
Lead quarterly flagship reports and data‑led industry analyses
Produce micro‑reports, insights pieces and evergreen content for Sales and ABM
Turn complex platform data into accessible stories for senior marketers
Support Product with content linked to launches and feature positioning
Write blogs, trend commentary, customer stories and product content
Create content that feeds into social, campaigns and PR
Maintain a consistent stream of high‑quality thought leadership
Plan, write and manage the company newsletter
Optimise cadence and structure to maximise engagement
Draft statements, commentary and thought leadership for external use
Support PR partners with narrative direction and content assets
Ensure consistency across messaging, reports and external comms
Adapt long‑ and short‑form content into social‑ready formats
Draft posts and support scheduling (full social strategy not required)
Work with the Marketing team on content planning and amplification
Work with Marketing Ops on campaign‑aligned content
Support Sales with outreach materials and ABM assets
Partner with Product on messaging inputs and feature storytelling
Work with Insights to identify key trends and stories for content
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise What you need to succeed in this role
Proven B2B content marketing experience, within a SaaS organisation
Confidence leading long‑form content production and giving input into the overall strategy (reports, whitepapers, insights)
Excellent writing skills across editorial, product and short‑form formats
Ability to interpret data and turn it into compelling stories
Experience working with senior marketing audiences
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple content streams
Experience with newsletters and CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot)
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and the utilisation of this for content writing
A proactive approach to using AI tools to enhance content research, ideation, and production efficiency
Nice to have
Basic design ability (formatting content, simple social graphics, using templates)
Experience drafting executive commentary
Familiarity with PR fundamentals
Understanding of gaming, virtual worlds or digital marketing trends
Understanding of product and customer marketing principles
