About The Role We are growing our electrical division in the Chandlers Ford area to meet the expanding business. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across the south region and customer sites in a safe, professional and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with the current I.E.E. Regulations for Electrical Installations and Industry Safety Regulations.
Maintain, install, service and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units to the required legislative standards.
Produce reports and estimates for repair set units and advise on safety issues as necessary.
Keep a good standard of housekeeping; ensure work areas and vehicles are kept in good order and clean.
Adhere to all necessary Risk Assessment / Method Statements.
Communicate regularly and effectively with manager and all internal and external customers regarding timelines, quality and overall service levels.
Work independently to manage own workloads and call outs; attend call‑outs for the branch as part of a call‑out rota (1 in 6 weeks).
Qualifications
Essential: JIB Qualified Electrician and ability to obtain an ECS Gold Card (18th edition).
Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
