As an
Energy Sales Closer , you’ll take the lead at the most critical stage of the sales process — converting qualified leads into contracted customers. You’ll be working directly with businesses that are already engaged and open to change. Your job is to guide them through the final stages of procurement: shaping the strategy, managing the tender, and securing the best commercial outcome. This is a high-responsibility, high-reward sales role with a direct impact on revenue and client success. Key responsibilities include: Tender management
– You’ll prepare tailored energy procurement tenders based on the customer’s strategy and usage profile, engaging with our panel of over 80 international suppliers to deliver the most competitive outcomes. Commercial negotiation
– You’ll lead all supplier and client negotiations, securing cost-effective contracts that support client goals on budget certainty, sustainability, and risk management. Client onboarding
– Once the deal is agreed, you’ll ensure a smooth transition to the account management team, supporting early engagement and client confidence during the onboarding period. Collaborative conversion
– You’ll work alongside your Business Development team to close deals at pace, providing pricing insight, product knowledge, and procurement expertise that accelerates decision-making. Contract strategy
– You’ll advise clients on contract types (fixed, flex, blend & extend), renewal timelines, and wider market considerations, ensuring they understand the value of their commercial choices. Governance and compliance
– You’ll follow NGP’s internal procurement protocols and compliance standards, representing both the customer and the supplier with transparency and professionalism. You’ll receive full training and support, including NGP’s pricing tools, procurement workflows, and supplier panel access.
