*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *General Dentist* to join our reputable dental practice. Above all we need a team player who is willing to work with our fantastic team to provide a quality experience to each of our patients. Production, and thus earnings, are directly correlated with how well the doctor gets along and works with the entire staff. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort. The position requires a professional with great clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to ongoing learning and patient well-being.
*Responsibilities*
* Ideally, provide a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry. Most extractions, ortho, implants, and prosthodontics are referred out, but obviously this means there is room for growth by keeping those procedures in house if you so choose.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
* Utilize dental terminology accurately for documentation and communication with patients and team members.
* Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of procedures performed.
* Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
* Willingness to stay current with advancements in dentistry
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Current DEA licensure/certification
* Valid state dental license to practice as a General Dentist.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
* Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
* Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, dental fabrication, and new treatment modalities. Pay: From $240,000.00 per year
