Business Development Manager – Defence (Leidos) Location:
Farnborough or Whiteley with flexibility to work from home as required by business demands.
Role Overview:
Aligns with the National Security and Defence (NS&D) Division and reports to the BD Director for NS&D.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead BD activities to achieve annual sign‑up targets.
Develop a pipeline of opportunities to support 3‑5 year business growth ambitions aligned with UK strategy.
Maintain senior relationships with Defence clients, positioning Leidos as a strategic partner.
Guide bid teams in developing differentiated client propositions.
Identify, influence, and qualify opportunities that match Leidos strengths.
Collaborate with marketing to create innovative campaigns for the UK Defence market.
Lead and execute significant new business campaigns.
Operate effectively within a multi‑functional team, providing leadership and communication.
The successful candidate will have:
Substantial experience selling C4ISR capability into the UK Defence market.
Existing client relationships in the UK Ministry of Defence.
Track record of driving business growth year on year and hitting targets.
Experience winning contracts valued over £25m.
Extensive knowledge of Government business development, contract awards, procurement trends, and customer buying behaviours.
Proven experience in creating winning bids with partners.
Background in strategy, business solutions, and transformation with a focus on new business pursuits.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Tenacity to maintain momentum across multiple bids.
Expertise in motivating and mentoring agile teams.
Domain Specific Requirements:
Experience as Business Developer, Senior Account Manager, or Capture Leader in complex UK MOD Land and Joint C4ISR campaigns.
Pedigree in delivering large strategic capital Cat A MOD Change Programmes.
Knowledge of C4ISR and/or CEMA into complex MOD delivery organisations.
Core sales, capture, bid, and marketing skills: team leading, revenue generation, business case authoring, integrated campaign design, R&D exploitation, stakeholder management.
Capability to formulate use cases for multi‑domain and digital transformation concept demonstrators.
Experience in UK Sales of Secure Information and Communications System Products and Services.
Understanding of MOD digital transformation programme, including Cap SP and Cap C4ISR portfolios.
Knowledge of autonomous systems, ITSM, and AI/ML technology desirable.

Field Sales Representative (Striker) – Red Bull Grocery Location:
Remote (UK)
Salary:
£27,166 – £7,166 + 15% performance bonus (note: salary range appears inconsistent; retain as listed).
Role Overview:
Represent Red Bull in major UK retailers, delivering world‑class execution, building relationships, and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with key staff in stores.
Deliver on availability, visibility, and sales targets.
Execute impactful merchandising and brand activation initiatives.
Secure secondary displays and increased shelf space.
Use data to plan and prioritise high‑impact store visits.
Monitor compliance and intervene where needed.
Accurately record data and submit photos of in‑store activity.
Provide insight into competitor activity and market trends.
Attend regular team meetings and stay aligned with campaign briefs.
