The Role
We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Team Member to support our growth and help expand our client base, with a focus on the construction sector. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and helping us reach more companies and individuals who can benefit from our training services.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and related sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Support marketing initiatives, including social media outreach (LinkedIn, Facebook)
Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
Track competitor activity and market trends to inform business strategy
Collaborate with the training and operations teams to ensure client needs are met
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as needed
Support the operations manager with their workload
About You
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in training, education, or construction)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using digital tools and social media for outreach
Knowledge of the Scottish construction sector is an advantage
