Our central data team lives in the Tech org and reports to the VP of Data. We are committed to building a strong data culture, empowering data‑fluency, enhancing our data platform, creating data products across all domains, and transforming our business with ML & AI.
The role
Provide strategic leadership for the analytics function, aligned with business objectives and overall data and technology strategy.
Champion best practices in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling within the team.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all reported data through robust validation and quality control processes.
Proactively identify areas for deep‑dive analysis that can drive revenue growth, cost efficiency or improved customer experience.
Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing team of data analysts, encouraging continuous learning, professional development and collaboration.
Oversee delivery of the team's roadmap, project prioritisation and resource allocation to ensure timely and high‑quality reporting and analytics insights.
Oversee the management, maintenance and optimisation of our primary Business Intelligence tool, Tableau, ensuring stability, performance and user adoption.
What we’re looking for
Experience in fostering analytics excellence, including developing analytical methodologies, promoting data literacy and ensuring high data quality and integrity.
Background in FinTech or similar industries.
Strong experience driving value with analysis; ability to move beyond reporting numbers to identifying strategic opportunities and solving business problems through recommendations.
Excellent SQL and analytical methodology skills, with a passion for delivering deep dives.
Hands‑on analytics, leading a small team and practising analytics excellence.
Coaching and mentoring skills for teammates and stakeholders.
Clear communication skills with the ability to adapt style to different audiences.
Experience setting up best practices for BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar tools.
