Role Overview We are looking for a
Personal Lines Insurance Consultant
at Wesleyan. The role focuses on speaking with clients already interested in our offerings – either via our outbound team or direct inbound enquiries – and recommending the right home or motor insurance policy from our panel of trusted providers. The position is hybrid, with a 40% office presence each month from our Birmingham City Centre base, and is subject to the Company’s flexible work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct fact‑finding conversations over the telephone to understand clients’ needs and preferences.
Present insurance solutions tailored to each client, researching market‑leading providers to find the best policy.
Overcome objections and highlight key benefits to bind insurance policies.
Ensure payments are processed and documentation issued in accordance with FCA guidelines and regulations.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records on the CRM system.
Work as part of a team to deliver agreed monthly sales and income targets.
Generate future opportunities by cross‑selling other products and services.
Operate compliantly and effectively in a target‑driven environment.
Provide advice and influence conversations in a regulated setting (FCA/PRA).
Communicate with strong service focus and successful conversational skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in general insurance, particularly home and motor sales, is preferred but not essential.
Experience in a regulated environment (FCA/PRA) is essential.
Target‑driven mindset and comfort with closing.
Strong service background and excellent conversational skills.

Competitive salary up to £26,000 with OTE up to £30,000 (dependent on skills and experience).
