 Mighty Bread Company is a James Beard–nominated wholesale and retail bakery in East Passyunk. We create naturally leavened breads and pastries for our retail customers and some of Philadelphia's top restaurants. We are looking to expand our growing pastry team.

What you'll do:

• Work both morning bakes and production shifts, executing what is needed for each of those stations. Experience with croissants is a plus.
• Be responsible along with the team for keeping track of pastry inventory and quality.
• Scale ingredients and mix batters precisely.
• Handle other bakery production tasks: prepping bakery items, cleaning, general kitchen upkeep
• Help with packing, bagging, and prepping pastries for delivery
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs

Must-haves:

• Previous experience in commercial bakery or restaurant pastry and baking.
• Organized, reliable, and able to move quickly when needed — oven-room heat and fermenting pastries wait for no one.
• Physical stamina and comfort lifting 50 lbs
• Flexibility: shifts generally begin between 4:00 AM–7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday availability required
• Willingness to handle whatever needs doing — from baking to cleanup to prep — with a team-focused mindset
