We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, organization, and tracking of materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring accurate inventory counts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting, a strong understanding of logistics operations, and a commitment to safety protocols. You will work closely with the inventory control team to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent discrepancies. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and shipping documents. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds.
