Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and cycle counts.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing materials.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE as required for specific tasks.
- Support the logistics team in various operational tasks, which may involve Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
