We're hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Seattle, Washington. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is handled with precision and efficiency. You will operate forklifts to manage the flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. A strong emphasis on Safety is paramount in this role, as you'll be working in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to perform tasks such as loading, unloading, and stacking will be essential. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, pick, and place inventory items accurately.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Perform daily safety checks on all equipment, utilizing required PPE.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Update inventory records as materials are moved.
- Follow all safety procedures related to Lifting and equipment operation.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of materials.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
