We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders for shipment. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all items are accounted for, correctly packaged, and ready for delivery, contributing directly to the efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
