As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role requires precision, a strong focus on Safety, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Follow all company policies and Logistics procedures.
- Ensure proper use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- May involve occasional manual Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of Logistics operations is beneficial.
