We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our distribution facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient and safe movement of inventory, supporting our extensive Logistics operations. This position requires a high level of precision and a strong adherence to safety regulations. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to manage inventory levels and ensure accurate placement of goods. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential. We offer thorough training on our specific equipment and operational procedures, emphasizing rigorous Safety standards and the mandatory use of appropriate PPE . This role demands excellent coordination and the ability to operate machinery safely and effectively. It involves continuous operation of the reach truck, as well as occasional physical tasks, including Lifting up to 30 pounds. Experience operating forklifts or similar heavy machinery is required.
