Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and accurately transporting materials, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory. A proven track record of safe operation and a commitment to workplace safety are critical. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around the warehouse.
  • Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory put-away and order picking as needed.
  • Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safe operating condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all logistics operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other physical tasks as needed.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
  • Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
