We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing various equipment to locate and retrieve products. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including stocking and inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
