Join our growing team in Omaha, Nebraska as a Receiving Clerk! This fundamental role is the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring that all deliveries are accurately received, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. You'll be instrumental in maintaining the flow of materials into our logistics operations. We're looking for reliable and organized individuals who understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, documenting any issues.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving environment is preferred. Ability to perform manual tasks, including Lifting of boxes and materials. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills for data entry. Understanding of inventory control principles. A commitment to Safety and teamwork. Must be punctual and reliable.
