We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct orders in a timely manner. You'll be working in a dynamic environment where efficiency and accuracy are key. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and methodically, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be handling various products and must be comfortable with frequent Lifting and movement. We emphasize a safe working environment and require adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track inventory.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Ensure order accuracy and quality control checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
