Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and PPE usage.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and vests, as required.
